The Bridge Cottages are some the oldest buildings in the village of Coniston. Over 300 years, they have formerly been the village post office, a butcher and around the beginning of the 1900s, a well-known restaurant. Though centrally located for all the goodies Coniston has to offer, The Bridge House Cottages are pleasantly secluded and peaceful.
The Bridge Cottages: Bridge House, Old Post, Bridge Suite are 3 inter-linking cottages which together comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests across 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Bridge House features a large lounge and kitchen/dining room making this property the perfect choice for those big family get-togethers and celebrations. The cottages also come the use of three exclusive hot tubs.
The Bridge Cottages are ideally situated in the centre of Coniston and just a short walk from the church, local stores, gift shops, cafe’s and numerous pubs. Popular valley and mountain walks including the Old Man of Coniston & Tarn Hows can be accessed from the front door and the lake shore is less than a 15 minute stroll away.
