Toilet & shower are a short step outside the Stables, in beautiful gardens. Separate lounge space with wifi & cooking hob and small kitchenette.

About this accommodation

Beckside Stables is a tiny detached house for 2 people. Completely unique, renovated with love and care, & full of quirky contemporary pieces, and original features. The original oak beams in the ceiling, and slate floor have been restored, as they would have been hundreds of years ago. A kingsize bed, with extremely comfy tempur mattress, is on a reduced height mezzanine level, accessed by a small staircase, & above the open plan living space. Lie in bed and listen to the crackles of the fire below, watching the stars through the ceiling window.
The short trip to the toilet and shower are made easy with slippers, dressing gowns provided. All the facilities are spotlessly clean. Breakfast essentials and toiletries are provided, and the hosts are available at all times if you need any guidance on the local area, walks, day trips or anything else. But you will be left in peace & privacy to enjoy your romantic and relaxing retreat. Off street parking, and an easy 10 minute walk into Cartmel village with a great selection of pubs, shops and dining options. Also visit the medieval Priory and famous L’Enclume, and easy driving to the great fells of the Lake District. Maps and walking guide books are provided.
